The movie is based on Spider-Man by Stan Lee Steve Ditko. Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel Entertainment, Laura Ziskin Productions, Arad Productions, Inc. and Matt Tolmach Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Avi Arad, Laura Ziskin, Matthew Tolmach and Matt Tolmach. The Amazing Spider-Man is written by James Vanderbilt, Alvin Sargent, Steve Kloves, Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, Avi Arad, Tom Cohen, Matt Daly, Kevin Feige, Michael Grillo, Kyla Kraman, Beatriz Sequeira, Matthew Tolmach and Laura Ziskin and it is directed by Marc Webb. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Amazing Spider-Man was released on 29th June 2012 and takes a screen time of 136 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Amazing Spider-Man was made on a budget of $230 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $708 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by James Vanderbilt, Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves. Cinematography was done by John Schwartzman and editing by Alan Edward Bell and Pietro Scalia. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner James Horner.
