Two lower-middle-class men fulfill their dreams of becoming police officers, but one of them ends up being framed for murder after taking down a corrupt cop who killed their mentors daughter, leading to a manhunt and a final showdown. The movie is based on Dhill by Dharani. Dum was Produced by Bunty Soorma, Karim Morani and Ali Morani. Dum is written by Mehran, Eeshwar Nivas, Bunty Soorma and Dharani and it is directed by Eeshwar Nivas. Dum was released on 24th January 2003 and takes a screen time of 171 minutes. Dum was made on a budget of ₹7 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹5 crore. Cinematography was done by Surinder Rao and editing by Bharat Singh. The music was composed by Sandeep Chowta.
