Base Industries Group was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Firoz Nadiadwala. Welcome is written by Anees Bazmee, Rajeev Kaul, Rajiv Kaul and Praful Parekh and it is directed by Anees Bazmee. UTV Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Welcome was released on 20th December 2007 and takes a screen time of 158 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Welcome was made on a budget of ₹48 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹70 crore. Cinematography was done by Sanjay F. Gupta and editing by Ashfaque Makrani. The music was composed by Anand Raj Anand along with Himesh Reshammiya, Wajid Ali and Sajid Wajid.
