A man named Dr. Aamir Ali becomes involved in a kidnapping scheme targeting his family, where he must complete various tasks to ensure their safety, including retrieving a briefcase filled with money that is switched with a bomb, ultimately sacrificing himself to save others, but is mistakenly labeled as a failed suicide bomber by the media. Aamir is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language Drama Thriller film starring Rajeev Khandelwal, Gajraj Rao, Aishwarya, Vasan Bala, Chinkal, Shashanka Ghosh and Rajiv Yadav. UTV Motion Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ronnie Screwvala. The film is written and directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. UTV Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Aamir was released on 6th June 2008 and takes a screen time of 95 minutes. Aamir was made on a budget of ₹3 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹2 crore. Cinematography was done by Alphonse Roy and editing by Aarti Bajaj. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Amit Trivedi.
