A young girl named Indu runs away from her forced marriage and falls in love with Chandu who has escaped from prison while a newly-deputed cop investigates a notorious criminal and they all end up intertwined in a violent conflict. Lakshyam is a 2007 Indian Telugu-language Action Drama film featuring Jagapati Babu, Anushka Shetty, Tottempudi Gopichand, Yashpal Sharma, Ali, Raghu Babu and Melkote. Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Nallamalupu Bujji. Lakshyam is written by Gopimohan, Vasu Oleti, M. Rathnam and M. Ratnam and it is directed by Vasu Oleti and Sriwass. Lakshyam was released on 6th July 2007 and takes a screen time of 164 minutes. Lakshyam was made on a budget of ₹8 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sriwass and Gopimohan. Cinematography was done by Sekhar V. Joseph and editing by Gautham Raju. The music was composed by Mani Sharma.
