V House Production was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Suresh Kamatchi. The movie is written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. Maanaadu was released on 1st August 2020. Maanaadu was made on a budget of ₹125 crore. Cinematography was done by Richard M. Nathan and editing by Praveen KL. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
