A successful businessman named Ronny gets caught up in a complex web of murder, deceit, and betrayal involving his brother, girlfriend, and personal assistant as they all vie for insurance money, leading to a final confrontation where Ronny and his girlfriend attempt to escape with the money but are ultimately confronted by an inspector who had been working with Ronny all along. Race is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language Action Drama movie starring Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu, Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy. Tips Industries was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ramesh S. Taurani and Kumar S. Taurani. Race is written by Kiran Kotrial and Shiraz Ahmed and it is directed by Abbas Mustan. UTV Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Race was released on 20th March 2008 and takes a screen time of 149 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Race was made on a budget of ₹46 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹60 crore. Cinematography was done by Ravi Yadav and editing by Hussain A. Burmawala. The music was composed by Pritam along with Salim Sulaiman.
