Minions, small yellow creatures who have accidentally caused the deaths of their evil masters, embark on a quest to find a new master and end up working for the worlds first female supervillain, only to ultimately betray her and choose to follow a young Gru as their new master. Minions is a 2015 American English-language Animation Action film featuring Pierre Coffin, Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney, Steve Coogan and Dan Perrault. Illumination Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Christopher Meledandri, Janet Healy and Chris Meledandri. Minions is written by Geoffrey Rush and Brian Lynch and it is directed by Kyle Balda and Pierre Coffin. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Minions was released on 10th July 2015 and takes a screen time of 91 minutes. Minions was made on a budget of $74 million and at the box office it grossed only $11 million. Editing was done by Claire Dodgson. The music was composed by Heitor Pereira.
