Tim Goodman, who abandoned his ambition to become a Pokémon trainer, discovers his supposedly deceased fathers potential survival and partners with a talkative Pikachu to uncover the truth, encountering a dangerous scheme linked to a mysterious gas and a powerful Pokémon named Mewtwo, ultimately defeating the mastermind and reuniting with his father while deciding to embark on a new career as a detective. Pokémon Detective Pikachu is a 2019 English-language Animation Adventure film starring Ryan Reynolds, Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Suki Waterhouse, Omar Chaparro, Chris Geere and Lynda Zhang-lim. The movie is based on Detective Pikachu by The Pok mon Company Creatures Inc. Pokémon Detective Pikachu was Produced by Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Hidenaga Katakami and Don Mcgowan. The movie is written and directed by Rob Letterman. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Pokémon Detective Pikachu was released on 10th May 2019 and takes a screen time of 104 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Pokémon Detective Pikachu was made on a budget of $150 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $433 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Dan Hernandez, Benji Samit, Rob Letterman and Derek Connolly. Cinematography was done by John Mathieson and editing by Mark Sanger and James Thomas.
