The movie is about a fishing boat captain named Baker Dill who confronts his personal demons and seeks redemption when a woman from his past arrives seeking help, leading him to uncover a world of deceit and mystery. Serenity is a 2019 American English-language Drama Thriller film starring Matthew Mcconaughey, Anne Hathaway, Diane Lane, Jason Clarke, Djimon Hounsou, Jeremy Strong and Redd Pepper. Global Road Entertainment in association with Starlings Entertainment, Nebulastar and Shoebox Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Steven Knight, Greg Shapiro and Guy Heeley. The motion picture is written and directed by Steven Knight. Aviron Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Serenity was released on 21st February 2019 and takes a screen time of 106 minutes. Serenity was made on a budget of $39 million and at the box office it grossed only $14 million. Cinematography was done by Jess Hall and editing by Laura Jennings. The music was composed by Benjamin Wallfisch.
