Parasite is a 2019 Korean Korean-language Comedy Crime movie featuring Song Kang-ho, Lee Sun-kyun, Cho Yeo-jeong, Choi Woo-shik, Park So-dam, Jang Hye-jin and Dong-hyeon Baek. Barunson E&A was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kwak Sin Ae, Kwak Sin-ae, Moon Yang-kwon, Bong Joon-ho and Jang Young-hwan. Parasite is written by Joon-ho Bong and directed by Joon-ho Bong and Bong Joon-ho. CJ Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Parasite was released on 27th June 2019 and takes a screen time of 132 minutes. Parasite was made on a budget of $13 billion and at the box office it grossed only $266 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Bong Joon-ho and Han Jin-won. Cinematography was done by Hong Kyung-pyo and editing by Yang Jin-mo. The music was composed by Jung Jae-il. At the 2020 Oscar Awards It won 4 awards including: Best Motion Picture of the Year, Best Achievement in Directing, Best Original Screenplay and Best International Feature Film.
