When renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday, the inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is mysteriously enlisted to investigate. The film is written and directed by Rian Johnson. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Knives Out was released on 27th November 2019 and takes a screen time of 130 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Knives Out was made on a budget of $40 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $309 million. Cinematography was done by Steve Yedlin and editing by Bob Ducsay. The music was composed by Nathan Johnson.
