Agent Augustus Gibbons enlists the help of Lieutenant Darius Stone, a former SEAL serving time in prison, to thwart General Deckerts plan to overthrow the President with the assistance of a hacker and Zekes crew, ultimately succeeding and covering up the events. xXx: State of the Union is a 2005 American English-language Action Adventure movie featuring Ice Cube, Willem Dafoe, Scott Speedman, Peter Strauss, Samuel L. Jackson, Xzibit and Rodney West. The movie is based on Characters by Rich Wilkes. Revolution Studios in association with Original Film. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Neal H. Moritz and Arne L. Schmidt. xXx: State of the Union is written by Rich Wilkes and Simon Kinberg and it is directed by Lee Tamahori. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. xXx: State of the Union was released on 28th April 2005 and takes a screen time of 101 minutes. xXx: State of the Union was made on a budget of $113 million and at the box office it grossed only $71 million. Cinematography was done by David Tattersall and editing by Mark Goldblatt, Steven Rosenblum and Todd E. Miller. The music was composed by Marco Beltrami.
