Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan use their light-based powers to stop Kree leader Dar-Benn from targeting planets important to Danvers and prevent her final plan involving Earths sun, leading to Rambeau getting stranded and Kamala forming a new group of young heroes. Captain Marvel 2 is a 2023 American English-language Action Adventure film featuring Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Park Seo-joon and Ffion Jolly. The movie is based on Marvel Comics. Marvel Studios was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kevin Feige. Captain Marvel 2 is written by Nia Dacosta, Megan Mcdonnell and Elissa Karasik and it is directed by Nia Dacosta. Walt Disney Studios acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Captain Marvel 2 was released on 10th November 2023 and takes a screen time of 105 minutes. Captain Marvel 2 was made on a budget of $274 million and at the box office it grossed only $206 million. Cinematography was done by Sean Bobbitt and editing by Catrin Hedstr m and Evan Schiff. The music was composed by Laura Karpman.
