Criminal defense attorney Mickey Haller represents wealthy playboy Louis Roulet, who is accused of assaulting a prostitute, but as Haller investigates the case, he uncovers evidence that Roulet is actually the true killer and had strategically chosen Haller as his attorney to maintain confidentiality, leading to a series of events including threats towards Hallers daughter, the murder of Hallers investigator, Roulets arrest for a previous murder, a violent confrontation between Haller and Roulet resulting in Haller being shot by Roulets mother and Haller ultimately killing her in self-defense, ultimately leading Haller to take on a new case for a biker gang. Lakeshore Entertainment in association with Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and Stone Village Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sidney Kimmel, Tom Rosenberg, Gary Lucchesi, Richard Wright and Scott Steindorff. The Lincoln Lawyer is written by John Romano and Michael Connelly and it is directed by Brad Furman. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Lincoln Lawyer was released on 24th March 2011 and takes a screen time of 118 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
