Two villages in Tamil Nadu are in conflict over the denial of a bus stop, which escalates into violence and ultimately leads to the decapitation of the police superintendent by a young man named Karnan, who is later arrested and returns ten years later to a celebration in his honor. Karma is a 1986 Indian Hindi-language Action Adventure movie featuring Dilip Kumar, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Poonam Dhillon and Ratna Shetty. Mukta Arts Ltd. was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Subhash Ghai. Karma is written by Sachin Bhowmick, Subhash Ghai and Kader Khan and it is directed by Subhash Ghai. Mukta Arts Ltd. acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Karma was released on 8th August 1986 and takes a screen time of 194 mins. The Film was successful at box office. Karma was made on a budget of ₹2 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹50 crore. Cinematography was done by Kamalakar Rao and editing by Waman Bhonsle and Gurudutt Shirali.
