Parashuram

Retired army officer Major Parashuram is asked to assist in rescuing a kidnapped actress, but ends up facing an organized crime syndicate led by MD who ultimately kills Parashurams son and wife, prompting him to seek revenge with the help of a press reporter and a slum-dweller named Appu, using a weapon associated with the Hindu deity Sage Parashurama. Parashuram is a 1989 Indian Kannada-language Drama Action motion picture starring Vani Viswanath, Puneeth Rajkumar, Mahalakshmi, Vani Viswanathan, Master Amit, Shankar Bhat and Shankanada Aravind. Dakshayini Combines was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Parvathamma Rajkumar. Parashuram is written by T. N. Narasimhan and directed by V. Somashekhar. Parashuram was released on 16th July 1989. The screenplay for the movie was written by T. N. Narasimhan. Cinematography was done by H. G. Raju and editing by P. Bhaktavatsalam. The music was composed by Hamsalekha.
