Lethal Weapon

A suicidal police officer and his partner investigate the death of a girl involved in prostitution, leading them to a criminal organization smuggling heroin into the US, where they confront a former colleague, rescue a kidnapped girl, and ultimately kill the organizations leader before finding hope and enjoying a meal with his partners family. Silver Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Richard Donner and Joel Silver. Lethal Weapon is written by Shane Black and directed by Richard Donner. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Lethal Weapon was released on 6th March 1987 and takes a screen time of 110 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Lethal Weapon was made on a budget of $15 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $120 million. Cinematography was done by Stephen Goldblatt and editing by Stuart Baird.
