A Hong Kong police officer reprimanded for a failed operation must protect a witness and clear his name by taking down a crime lord and his henchmen. Ging chaat goo si is a 1985 Cantonese-language Action Comedy motion picture starring Jackie Chan, Brigitte Lin, Maggie Cheung, Chor Yuen, Charlie Cho, Kwok-hung Lam and Yau-kei Tang. Golden Way Films Ltd. was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Raymond Chow and Leonard Ho. Ging chaat goo si is written by Jackie Chan and Edward Tang and it is directed by Jackie Chan. Golden Harvest acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Ging chaat goo si was released on 14th December 1985 and takes a screen time of 100 minutes. Cinematography was done by Cheung Yiu Cho and editing by Peter Cheung. The music was composed by Michael Lai along with Tang Siu Lam, Kevin Bassinson and J. Peter Robinson.
