Ardaas

A dedicated teacher is assigned to a government school in a village, where he becomes a source of support for the villagers while battling his inner guilt and seeking redemption, ultimately exploring themes of morality, self-discovery, and the transformative power of teaching. Ardaas is a 2016 Indian Punjabi-language Drama film starring Gurpreet Ghuggi, Ammy Virk, B.n. Sharma, Rana Ranbir, Karamjit Anmol, Mandy Takhar and Raj Dhaliwal. Humble Motion Pictures in association with Sippy Grewal Productions and Aman Khatkar Arsara Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Aman Khatkar, Gippy Grewal, Sukhjinder Bhachu, Pushpinder Happy, Sippy Grewal and Badshah. The movie is written and directed by Gippy Grewal. Omjee Group acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Ardaas was released on 11th March 2016 and takes a screen time of 135 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of ₹17 crore. Cinematography was done by Baljit Singh Deo and editing by Baljit Singh Deo. The music was composed by Jatinder Shah.
