Farrar is a 1965 Indian Bollywood film about a man named Ram who is falsely accused of a crime, and his journey to clear his name with the help of a determined lawyer, exploring themes of justice, truth, and the resilience of the human spirit, while incorporating captivating music and showcasing the talents of its cast. Faraar is a 1965 Indian Hindi-language Mystery Thriller motion picture starring Amitabh Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore, Sanjeev Kumar, Anil Chatterjee, Balraj Sahni, Shabnam and Asit Kumar Sen. Filmistan Studio in association with Filmways Studios and K. Asif Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Alankar Chitra. Faraar is written by Gulzar, Madhusudan Kalekar, Khayaae, Akhil Kumar and Prtho Mukherjee and it is directed by Pinaki Bhushan Mukherji and Shankar Mukherjee. Alankar Chitra acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Faraar was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹3 lakh. Cinematography was done by K.H. Kapadia and editing by Babu Lavande. The music was composed by Kalyanji-anandji.
