Sachaai

A musician travels from his village to Bombay in search of work, gets roped into impersonating a diamond smuggler, and in the end helps bring the real thief to justice. Sachaai is a 1969 Indian Hindi-language Drama Comedy movie starring Rajesh Khanna, Mumtaz, Vinod Khanna, Shammi Kapoor, Sadhana Shivdasani, Sanjeev Kumar and Prem Kumar. Ranjit Studios was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Vinod Doshi. Sachaai is written by Jeevanprabha M. Desai and Prayag Raj and it is directed by Manmohan Desai. Shemaroo Video Pvt. Ltd acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Sachaai was released on 1st January 1969 and takes a screen time of 144 minutes. Cinematography was done by Peter Pereira and editing by Kamlakar Karkhanis. The music was composed by Kalyanji-anandji.
