Anupama

After the death of his wife during childbirth, a businessman in Bombay becomes an alcoholic and abandons their daughter, who grows up lonely and ultimately falls in love with a writer and teacher that her father initially disapproves of. Anupama is a 1966 Indian Hindi-language Drama Family movie featuring Dharmendra, Sharmila Tagore, Shashikala, Deven Verma, Shashi Kala, Durga Khote and Surendra Rahi. Hallmark Hall of Fame was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) L. B. Lachman. Anupama is written by Rajinder Singh Bedi, Bimal Dutta, D.n. Mukherjee, Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Biren Tripathy and it is directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Columbia Pictures Television acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Anupama was released on 21st January 1966 and takes a screen time of 148 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Bimal Dutta and D.N. Mukherjee. Cinematography was done by Jaywant Pathare and editing by Das Dhaimade. The music was composed by Hemant Kumar along with Kaifi Azmi.
