Gunga Jumna is written by Wajahat Mirza and Dilip Kumar and it is directed by Nitin Bose and Dilip Kumar. Citizen Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Gunga Jumna was released on 1st January 1961 and takes a screen time of 178 minutes. Gunga Jumna was made on a budget of ₹3 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Dilip Kumar. Cinematography was done by V. Babasaheb and editing by Das Dhaimade and Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The music was composed by Naushad.
