Balika Badhu is written by Bimal Kar, Shabd Kumar and Tarun Majumdar and it is directed by Tarun Majumdar. NBCUniversal Television Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the film. Balika Badhu was released on 20th August 1976. The screenplay for the movie was written by Tarun Majumdar. Cinematography was done by Nando Bhattacharya and editing by Bijoy Chowdhary.
