A botany professor disguises himself as a driver to prove himself to his wifes idolized brother-in-law and chaos ensues. Chupke Chupke is a 1975 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama motion picture starring Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore, Jaya Bachchan, Om Prakash, Lily Chakravarty and Jennifer Stone. The movie is inspired from Chhadobeshi by Upendranath Ganguly. Rupam Chitra was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Hrishikesh Mukherjee and N. C. Sippy. Chupke Chupke is written by Upendranath Ganguly, D.n. Mukherjee, Gulzar Kalra, Mohini N. Sippy, Shakeel Chandra and Biren Tripathy and it is directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Shemaroo Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Chupke Chupke was released on 11th April 1975 and takes a screen time of 127 minutes. Chupke Chupke was made on a budget of ₹9 lakh. Cinematography was done by Jaywant Pathare and editing by Subhash Gupta and Pandit Shridhar Mishra. The music was composed by Sachin Dev Burman.
