Ghar

A couples relationship is severely tested and strained after the wife is kidnapped and gang-raped, leaving them emotionally scarred and searching for a way to heal and reconnect. Ghar is a 1978 Hindi-language Drama Family motion picture featuring Vinod Mehra, Rekha Ganesan, Prema Narayan, Asit Kumar Sen, Dinesh Thakur, Shashi Kiran and Yasmin. The movie is based on The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi. Golden Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Diane Eskenazi. Ghar is written by Dinesh Thakur, Carlo Collodi and Roger Scott Olsen and it is directed by Manik Chatterjee and Gulzar Kalra. Trimark Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Ghar was released on 9th February 1978 and takes a screen time of 49 minutes. The music was composed by Rahul Dev Burman. At the 1979 Filmfare Awards It won an award for Best Story.
