Hulchul

The story follows a wealthy man and his family in a small Indian town, where love, murder, imprisonment, and family secrets create obstacles for the youngest sons love affair with the daughter of his eldest sons former lover. Hulchul is a 2004 Indian Hindi-language Action Comedy motion picture starring Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar. The movie is inspired from Godfather by Siddique-Lal. Venus Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bharat S Shah, Ganesh Jain, Ratan Jain and Champak Jain. Hulchul is written by K.p. Saxena, Siddique, Neeraj Vora and K. P. Saxena and it is directed by Priyadarshan Nair. Venus Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Hulchul was released on 26th November 2004 and takes a screen time of 149 minutes. Hulchul was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹5 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Neeraj Vora. Cinematography was done by Jeeva and editing by Arun Kumar. The music was composed by Vidyasagar along with Surinder Sodhi.
