Baba

Baba is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language Action Drama film featuring Rajinikanth, Manisha Koirala, Sanghavi, Goundamani, Sujatha, Ashish Vidyarthi and Lawrence Raghavendra. Baba (Rajini) an atheist, by a twist of fate, acquires magical powers from a divine source and takes on crooked politicians. Lotus International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Rajinikanth. Baba is written by Balakumaran, Gopu-babu, Rajinikanth, Sri Ramakrishna and S. Ramakrishnan and it is directed by Suresh Krissna. Lotus International acquired the distribution rights for the film. The motion picture has a running time of 174 minutes. Baba was made on a budget of ₹65 lakh and at the box office it grossed only ₹4 lakh. The screenplay for the movie was written by Rajinikanth. Cinematography was done by Chota K. Naidu and editing by V. T. Vijayan. The music was composed by Ar Rahman along with A.r. Rahman.
