DreamWorks Pictures in association with Reliance Entertainment, New Republic Pictures, Alibaba Pictures, Mogambo, Neal Street Productions and Amblin Partners. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sam Mendes, Pippa Harris, Jayne-ann Tenggren, Callum Mcdougall and Brian Oliver. 1917 is written by Sam Mendes and Krysty Wilson-cairns and it is directed by Sam Mendes. Entertainment One acquired the distribution rights for the film. 1917 was released on 17th January 2020 in English,German and French languages and takes a screen time of 119 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. 1917 was made on a budget of $95 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $384 million. Cinematography was done by Roger Deakins and editing by Lee Smith. The music was composed by Thomas Newman.
