Mahaan

This is the story of Mohandoss, an activist against liquor-ban, and his son Gandhi Mahaan, who is addicted to gambling, and how their conflicts and Gandhis skill in gambling shape their lives over several decades, leading to Gandhis involvement in the liquor industry, government restrictions, investigations, and ultimately a redemption that transforms Gandhi into a better person. Mahaan is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language Action Drama film starring Simran, Dhruv Vikram, Bobby Simha, Vettai Muthu Kumar, Sananth, Vani Bhojan and Kalivaanan. Seven Screen Studio was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) S. S. Lalit Kumar. The film is written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Amazon Prime Video acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Mahaan was released on 10th February 2022 and takes a screen time of 162 minutes. Cinematography was done by Shreyaas Krishna and editing by Vivek Harshan. The music was composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
