English Vinglish is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama movie starring Adil Hussain, Mehdi Nebbou, Priya Anand, Sridevi Kapoor, Sulabha Deshpande, Michael Patrick Hoban and Musa Muhammed Olayinka. Hope Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Anita Anand, R. Damani, Sunil Lulla, R. Balki, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and R. K. Damani. The motion picture is written and directed by Gauri Shinde. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. English Vinglish was released on 5th October 2012 and takes a screen time of 134 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. English Vinglish was made on a budget of ₹26 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹38 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Gauri Shinde. Cinematography was done by Laxman Utekar and editing by Hemanti Sarkar. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Amit Trivedi.
