Naan Kadavul

A father searches for his son who has become an Aghori in Kashi, but brings him back to Tamil Nadu where he saves a blind girl from a cruel man before allowing her to seek moksha and returning to his guru. Naan Kadavul is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language Action Drama motion picture featuring Arya, Rajendran, Pooja Umashankar, Krishnamoorthy, Dp Singappuli, Rajendranath and Azhagan Tamizhmani. The movie is based on Yezhaam Ulagam by Jeyamohan. Vasan Visual Ventures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) K. S. Sreenivasan. Naan Kadavul is written by Bala Pazhanisaamy and Jeyamohan and it is directed by Bala Pazhanisaamy. Vasan Visual Ventures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Naan Kadavul was released on 19th January 2009 and takes a screen time of 127 minutes. Naan Kadavul was made on a budget of ₹7 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Bala. Cinematography was done by Arthur A. Wilson and editing by Suresh Urs. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja. At the 2010 South Filmfare Awards It won an award for Best Actress (Pooja Umashankar).
