Aarasu

A man named Arasu commits a murder and later moves to Kumbakonam where he finds employment in a temple, falling in love with Meera, but his dark past catches up with him when he seeks revenge against the murderer of his father. Aarasu is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language Drama film starring Sarath Kumar, Simran, Sai Kumar, Vadivelu, Delhi Ganesh, Roja Selvamani and R Sarathkumar. JJ Good Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Babu Raaja. Aarasu is written by Suresh and directed by Joone and Suresh. Super Good Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Aarasu was released on 1st January 2003. The screenplay for the movie was written by Suresh. Cinematography was done by Y. N. Murali and editing by V. Jaishankar. The music was composed by Mani Sharma.
