Vasan Visual Ventures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) K. S. Sreenivasan and K. S. Sivaraman. The movie is written and directed by P. Samuthirakani. Vasan Visual Ventures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Nimirndhu Nil was released on 6th March 2014 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. Cinematography was done by M. Sukumar and M. Jeevan and editing by S. N. Fazil. The music was composed by Gv Prakash Kumar along with G. V. Prakash Kumar.
