Two twin brothers, Shiva and Vishnu, face hardships together as Shiva protects Vishnu from being sent to an orphanage, assumes Vishnus identity, becomes a thief to support physically disabled individuals, falls in love with Lavanya who turns out to be related to the man who disabled Vishnu, and eventually marries her, while Thangam, who loves Shiva, marries Vishnu. Villain is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language Action Drama film featuring Ajith Kumar, Neha Dhupia, Meena Durairaj, Tulip Joshi, Kiran Rathod, Fefsi Vijayan and Gowtam Raju. NIC Arts was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) S. S. Chakravarthy. Villain is written by Yugi Sethu and K.s. Ravikumar and it is directed by K.s. Ravikumar and K. S. Ravikumar. NIC Arts acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Villain was released on 4th November 2002 and takes a screen time of 164 minutes.
