A young man seeks his fathers confession after finding out about his mothers exploitation and reunites with him after using clever tactics and arranging marriages. Mr. Bharath is a 1986 Indian Tamil-language Drama film starring Rajinikanth, Sathyaraj, Sobhan Babu, Ambika Ravikanth, Suhasini Maniratnam, Goundamani and Visu. The movie is based on Trishul by Salim Javed. AVM Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) M. Saravanan and M. Balasubramaniam. Mr. Bharath is written by Ilaiyaraaja and directed by Rajachandra and S. P. Muthuraman. AVM Productions acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Mr. Bharath was released on 28th March 1986. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹2 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Visu. Cinematography was done by T. S. Vinayagam and editing by R. Vittal and C. Lancy. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja.
