Pans Labyrinth is a dark fantasy film set in 1944 Francoist Spain that follows Ofelias journey into an ancient stone labyrinth where she completes three dangerous tasks but is ultimately killed by her stepfather, Captain Vidal, leaving behind little traces of her time in the human world. Pans Labyrinth is a 2006 Spanish-language Drama Fantasy motion picture starring Sergi L Pez, Maribel Verd, Ivana Baquero, Doug Jones, Ariadna Gil, Lex Angulo and Luke Burnyeat. Pans Labyrinth was Produced by Guillermo Del Toro, Bertha Navarro, Alfonso Cuar N, Frida Torresblanco and Lvaro Augustin. The movie is written and directed by Guillermo Del Toro. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Pans Labyrinth was released on 30th November 2006 and takes a screen time of 120 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Pans Labyrinth was made on a budget of $19 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $83 million. Cinematography was done by Guillermo Navarro and editing by Bernat Vilaplana. The music was composed by Javier Navarrete. At the 2007 Oscar Awards It won 3 awards including: Best Achievement in Cinematography, Best Achievement in Art Direction and Best Achievement in Makeup.
