The film depicts Mikhail Kalashnikovs journey from a farmers son to becoming a soldier in the Red Army, his invention of a new automatic weapon for the Soviet army, and his eventual success in creating a rifle approved for mass production, all celebrated with a visit to his family. AK-47 is a 2020 Russian-language Action movie starring Yuri Borisov, Olga Lerman, Artur Smolyaninov, Eldar Kalimulin, Vitaliy Khaev, Valeriy Barinov and Seydulla Moldakhanov. The movie is inspired from Life of Mikhail Kalashnikov. AK-47 was Produced by Konstantin Buslov and Sergei Bodrov. AK-47 is written by Anatoliy Usov, Sergei Bodrov and Aleksey Borodachyov and it is directed by Konstantin Buslov. Megogo Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The film has a running time of 110 minutes. AK-47 was made on a budget of $200 million and at the box office it grossed only $117 million. Cinematography was done by Levan Kapanadze and editing by Margarita Smirnova. The music was composed by Sergei Stern.
