    • Home 3D is brilliant for spectacle although I wish spectacle didnt always have to be the overriding factor. ( Read More )
    • Matt Donato

Theres a rich historical story here worth the watch, one that presents a spectacular visual journey, but Bondarchuks film unfortunately tries to do it all and the romantic shortcomings are bullishly outweighed by much more favorable moments surrounding Stalingrads dark history. ( Read More )
    • Its certainly a more nationalistic take on this famous butchery of a battle, but one thats every bit as relevant certainly today as any other. ( Read More )
    • Tom Huddleston

Protechnically impressive, but something important is missing: tension, originality and memorable characters. ( Read More )
    • Tim Robey

No one should come to this kind of epic expecting subtlety, but it veers closer to blockbuster war porn than anything since Pearl Harbor (2001). ( Read More )
