A Kabbadi player named Ajay from Bangalore helps a girl named Padma escape from a dangerous faction leader who wants to forcefully marry her, resulting in a series of events including Ajays arrest, the kidnapping of the faction leader, and finally, Ajays team winning the Kabaddi tournament. Ajay is a 2006 Indian Kannada-language Action Drama movie starring Puneeth Rajkumar, Anuradha Mehta, Prakash Raj, Srinath, Doddanna, Nasser and Sarigama Viji. The movie is inspired from Okkadu by Gunasekhar. Rockline Entertainments Pvt Ltd. was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Rockline Venkatesh. Ajay is written by M. S. Ramesh and directed by Meher Ramesh. Rockline Productions acquired the distribution rights for the film. The movie has a running time of 158 minutes.
