Athidhi

An orphan boy named Athidhi gets falsely accused of murder and falls in love with a girl named Amrita whom he met during his childhood days, and protects her from a psychopath murderer and mafia leader named Kaiser, ultimately proving his innocence by killing Kaiser and saving Amrita from death. Athidhi is a 2007 Indian Telugu-language Action Crime movie featuring Mahesh Babu, Amrita Rao, Baby Anni, Malaika Arora Khan, Dasari Brahmam, Vajja Venkata Giridhar and Prabhakar. UTV Motion Pictures in association with Krishna Productions Pvt.Ltd. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ramesh Babu. Athidhi is written by Vimal Kashyap, Prakash Kothare, Abburi Ravi, Surender Reddy and Chandra B. Varma and it is directed by Surender Reddy. UTV Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Athidhi was released on 18th October 2007 and takes a screen time of 179 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Athidhi was made on a budget of ₹20 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹35 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Surender Reddy. Cinematography was done by Sameer Reddy and editing by Gautham Raju. The music was composed by Mani Sharma.
