A man named Saravanan sells audio cassettes while his father, Saamy, who is a bus driver, loves Kabadi but neglects his work to watch matches, leading to his suspension, and Saravanan scolds him for it and the family decides to sell their jewels to buy an ambassador car for Saamy, but he loses it due to a kind act, which angers everyone, and simultaneously, Saravanan falls in love with Malar, a girl from a rich family, causing more problems, and eventually, Saravanan discovers his fathers true identity and reluctantly becomes a Kabadi player to honor him, hoping to win Malars heart as well.
