Kaasi seeks vengeance for his parents death by hunting down their killers in Mumbai, but ends up entangled in rival gang wars, a complicated love affair, and a series of betrayals, eventually sacrificing himself to save Sivas brother and leaving Siva heartbroken. Inspired Movies in association with Spice Team Entertainments. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Arjun Sarja and Subha Sandeep. Madrasi is written by Perarasu, Arjun Sarja and G. K. Gopinath and it is directed by Perarasu and Arjun Sarja. Sree Ram Films International acquired the distribution rights for the film. Madrasi was released on 1st November 2005 and takes a screen time of 157 mins. Cinematography was done by K. S. Selvaraj and editing by P. Saisuresh. The music was composed by D. Imman.
