Student of the Year 2 follows Rohan, a middle-class student who falls in love with Mia, but faces challenges with popular students Shreya and Manav until he comes back to challenge Manav for the Student of the Year trophy. Student of the Year 2 is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language Romance Comedy film featuring Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria, Ananya Panday, Aditya Seal, Rohit Roy, Ulka Gupta and Avinash Kulkarni. Dharma Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Apoorva Mehta, Karan Johar, Yash Johar and Hiroo Yash Johar. Student of the Year 2 is written by Aditya Pawar, Punit Malhotra and Arshad Sayed and it is directed by Punit Malhotra. Fox Star Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. Student of the Year 2 was released on 10th May 2019 and takes a screen time of 146 minutes. Student of the Year 2 was made on a budget of ₹65 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹65 crore. Cinematography was done by Ravi K. Chandran and editing by Ritesh Soni. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Shekhar Ravjiani along with Vishal Dadlani, Vishal Shekhar and Salim Sulaiman.
