Officials in Maharashtra plan to displace a tribe from their mountain homes to make room for mining and industrial purposes, causing backlash from indigenous rights activists who argue that the displacement would violate their basic human rights and traditional way of life. Thittivasal is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language Drama Action motion picture starring Nassar, Ajay Rathnam, Nasser, Mahendran Vizha, Aiswarya, Hanumanthe Gowda and Dheeraj. K3 Cine Creations was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Srinivas Rao. The motion picture is written and directed by M. Prathapmuraali. AP International acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Thittivasal was released on 3rd November 2017 and takes a screen time of 113 minutes. Thittivasal was made on a budget of ₹2 crore. Cinematography was done by G. Srinivasaan and editing by RS Sathishkumar. The music was composed by Harish along with Sathish and Harish-sathish.
