Kantri is a Telugu film about an NRI who returns to his village to uplift the community, but his family is betrayed and killed by a powerful businessman, leading to an orphan named Kantri joining the businessmans gang and rising quickly until he learns the businessman is his father. Kantri is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language Action film featuring Jr. Ntr, Hansika Motwani, Tanisha Mukherjee, Prakash Raj, Ashish Vidyarthi, Junior N.t.r. and Joy Badlani. Kantri was Produced by C. Ashwini Dutt. Kantri is written by Meher Ramesh and Prasad Thota and it is directed by Meher Ramesh. Kantri was released on 16th May 2008 and takes a screen time of 166 minutes. Kantri was made on a budget of ₹25 crore. Cinematography was done by Sameer Reddy and editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh. The music was composed by Mani Sharma.
