An interesting drama thriller Drishyam 2 revolves around Georgekutty and his family who are threatened when Varun's missing case is reopened. What happens next forms the crux of the story. The film stars Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil. The Principal photography began in September 2020 and was completed in November 2020. It was written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. The film was produced by Antony Perumbavoor for Aashirvad Cinemas and was distributed by Prime Video. Interestingly the film was announced by Mohanlal on his 60th birthday. The music was composed by Anil Johnson. Adept cinematography by Satheesh Kurup and clear-cut editing by V. S. Vinayak makes it a watchable movie. The film was released on 19 February 2021 and occupies screentime of 153 minutes.
