A news anchor and his colleagues work to expose corruption despite obstacles from their corrupt boss and a politician, leading to their eventual arrest. Kavan is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language Action Thriller film featuring Vijay Sethupathi, T. Rajendar, Vikranth, Madonna Sebastian, Pandiarajan, Akashdeep Saigal and Anand K.v. AGS Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S. Suresh. Kavan is written by Anand K.v., Subha, K. V. Anand and Kabilan Vairamuthu and it is directed by Anand K.v. and K. V. Anand. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Kavan was released on 31st March 2017 and takes a screen time of 160 minutes. The film made a box office gross of ₹50 crore. Cinematography was done by Abinandhan Ramanujam and editing by Anthony. The music was composed by Hiphop Tamizha Adhi along with Hiphop Tamizha.
