Sathriyan

A loyal henchman seeks revenge for his leaders death, protects his leaders daughter from harassers, falls in love, overcomes his violent past, saves his friend, and ultimately marries the daughter, leading to a harmonious ending. Sathriyan is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language Action Drama film featuring Vikram Prabhu, Manjima Mohan, Aishwarya Dutta, Rio Raj, Kavin Raj, Sharath Lohitashwa and Supergood Subramani. Sathya Jyothi Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) T. T. G. Thyagasaravanan and Selvi Thiyagarajan. The motion picture is written and directed by S. R. Prabhakaran. Saattai Karthik acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Sathriyan was released on 9th June 2017. Sathriyan was made on a budget of ₹6 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹5 crore. Cinematography was done by Sivakumar Vijayan and editing by M. Venkat. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
